The Peak Forest Retreat nestles within the foothills of Mother Cummings Peak, Great Western Tiers, Kooparoona Niara, World Heritage wilderness area, Northern Tasmania and offers two types of ECO SPA accommodation, the luxury chalet Lodge and boutique forest Cottage.  This private, secluded 50 acre property in the heartland of Meander Valley showcases mountain range vistas, stunning panoramic views, lush rainforest and beautiful countryside....the ultimate sensory experience and paradise retreat getaway. 

The luxury chalet Lodge built from stone and timber, is hugged by a wrap around balcony giving magnificent views and offering luxe King and Queen bedrooms with quality furnishings, bespoke fittings, spacious bathroom, vintage styling, Tasmanian art and private outdoor spa. The entire second storey and Lodge is exclusively yours when you book the Deluxe King bedroom. Classic elegance and comfort in the lounge and dining areas enhance relaxation making it easy to unwind with exclusive evening dining offering a seasonal gourmet menu of Tasmanian, local and organic produce, speciality platters, mouthwatering dishes, vegetarian/vegan dishes and complimentary wine.  Mornings are peaceful with organic plunger coffee, and an array of teas with breakfast options available for an extra fee - continental self help or country cooked. Plus our drinking water is pristine straight off the mountains! You can also book the second quality Queen bedroom for family or friends (extra fee per person per night). The boutique forest Cottage is perfectly located surrounded by forest, acres of garden, an outdoor deck, hot tub spa and stunning views. The main Queen and second twin singles bedrooms have quality fittings, spacious comfort, country vintage styling and delightful aspects from every window. Everything you need has been taken into consideration with a fully equipped cooks kitchen for self catering, organic coffee and teas, breakfast can be provided for extra fee, raindrop shower, eco products, robes, complimentary wine and port, wood fire, tasteful luxe design, country vintage & boho styling, Tasmanian art and huge windows in the lounge room inviting the outside in. 

The Peak offers Lodge group bookings for up to six people with two King bedrooms and one Queen, perfect for friends or family getaways. Scroll down to our services section and click on LODGE GROUPS to find out how to book all three bedrooms at the Lodge; its a straight forward process.  We also offer full group bookings with the Lodge and Cottage, sleeping up to 10 people.  All you need to do is book both and let us know if you require our delicious, creative catering. Think intimate elopements, engagements, family celebrations, friends get togethers, weekend art or wellness retreats....the ideas are endless and the surroundings are perfect! 

We offer two night stay minimums only and special one night stays for full group bookings at both sites and events.  The Peak is centrally located at Western Creek with a sealed access road and forest wilderness day walks nearby, 20 minutes drive to Deloraine and Mole Creek, one hour drive from Devonport and Launceston, 3 hours to Hobart and the East Coast region and 1&1/2 hours to Cradle Mountain.  For more information on nearby attractions and our services please scroll down to the bottom of this page.
