- wood fire heating with lower emissions heaters; timber used is from clearing for bush fire management

- registered private water users permit - properties creek, pristine tested water from mountain area

- bush fire hazard management plan permits - local Meander Valley Council permits

- organic and natural products used for toiletries, soaps, laundry (eco wash machine) and cleaning

- landcare management (weed control) of property which neighbours World Heritage area and members of FOGWT

- strict recycling, reusing and waste transfer station usage

- composting for gardening, low water plants and endemic, native planting

- grey water tank capture and rain water for garden usage

- growing own herbs and to plate experience

- septic tank usage
