DIRECTIONS TO THE PEAK FOREST RETREAT:  When you reach our access entrance at 830 Western Creek Road drive in and keep driving on our sealed driveway nearly 2kms, until you see the Lodge and keep driving up until you reach the accommodation area for parking at either the Lodge or Cottage.

There are four different ways to access our property location depending on which direction your driving from:

1.  Driving from Devonport: Bass Highway A1 head towards Launceston..... turn off at the second Deloraine junction not the first. Drive towards Deloraine but do not cross the Meander River Bridge before the town centre, instead turn into Highland Lakes Road A5 before the bridge. Drive for ten minutes or so on this road which becomes Meander Road until you reach Cheshunt Road C166 and turn in right and drive along Cheshunt Road for ten minutes or so. You will see Mother Cummings Peak and Ironstone Mountain to your left.  You will see a sign Western Creek Road to your left with a property hosting a dam on the corner.  This road is gravel but takes you straight to our letterbox and entrance. If you don't want to drive on this gravel road which is in good condition, keep driving until you reach the Dairy Plains Road junction and turn left until you reach Western Creek Road T junction and turn left and drive along over the Western Creek bridge around the corner and onto a short gravel road which leads to our letterbox and entrance.

2. Driving from Launceston or Hobart: Bass Highway A1 head towards Devonport.....turn off at first Deloraine junction. Drive towards Deloraine but do not cross the Meander River Bridge before the town centre, instead turn into Highland Lakes Road A5 before the bridge. 3. Driving from Cradle Mt, Sheffield to Mole Creek: Your driving along Mole Creek Road B12.....drive through Mole Creek and Chudleigh and keep driving (5 minutes or so) until you reach a junction at Needles which is landmarked by an old red phone box on the left side of the road. Turn right into Needles on Dairy Plains Road C168 and drive along this road which has some corners and turn offs but stay on the main Dairy Plains Road until you reach Western Creek Road T junction then turn left on Western Creek road drive over the bridge and keep driving on a short gravel road until you reach our access driveway & letter box.

4. Driving from Highland Lakes/ Bothwell /Hobart via Bothwell: Your driving on the A5 road towards Deloraine......you will reach a T junction of the A5 and C167.  Turn left as if to Meander and drive on the Meander Road C167 approx 8 minutes, you will reach Cheshunt Road and turn in right and drive along Cheshunt Road for ten minutes or so. You will see Mother Cummings Peak and Ironstone Mountain to your left.  You will see a sign Western Creek Road to your left with a property hosting a dam on the corner.  This road is gravel but takes you straight to our letterbox and entrance. If you don't want to drive on this gravel road which is in good condition, keep driving until you reach the Dairy Plains Road junction and turn left until you reach Western Creek Road T junction and turn left and drive along over the Western Creek bridge around the corner and onto a short gravel road which leads to our letterbox and entrance.
